Diaper Wipes for Sensitive Skin...

Greetings Mommies!

My 2.5 year old son has ubber sensitive skin. What wipes do you use on kiddos with super sensitive skin? In the past, we've just used washcloths or purchased very expensive wipes from a medical supply company...but, all his docs say he needs something more to clean the area.

Thanks!

Deanna

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thanks to everyone who responded...it was a pretty good mix of thoughts. My son has bootie ezcema, which I guess it pretty rare, so finding the right wipe has been tough. I've tried a ton of stuff (huggies, pampers and others), but I think after doing a ton of research we're going to have to go with a wash and the wipe from Seventh Generation.

You guys are awesome!

My son has somewhat sensitive skin. We use Super Sensitive Body Wash from California Kids and Seventh Generation wipes and diapers. He has not had any rashes using any of these products. If you try them and they work, you can do a subscribe and save program through Amazon.com. This has helped us save lots of money and shipping is usually free. I also stay away from lavendar in any of the products because my son would have reactions to bath and body products with lavendar in it. I also used Vaseline to protect his skin from any moisture that occurs when he's in the diaper (of course the one without fragrance).

My youngest has supper sensitive skin!! I have tried several baby brands and the one that works the best is HUGGIES for sensitive skin. I have tried the pampers and a few others but they all gave him a rash ~ the worst ones for him are the Kirkland brand from Costco, but the other two kids used them fine =} Also the diaper itself might be causing some issues too, again we can only use the Huggies on this baby! Good luck to you and be blessed.

I do believe that they make a wipe that is for sensitive skin ,i do believe it is made by pampers.my daughter was like that when she was a baby, know she is 13.Or you can try wipes that do not have a scent to them.just a suggestion.
hope this helps

I've used the Pampers Sensitive skin too. And it was fine.

You might also want to try diaper area "wash" items. Like this California Baby one:

Or these:

http://www.drugstore.com/qxp71651_333181_sespider/mustela...

http://www.mustelausa.com/diaper_change.html

http://www.kiehls.com/_us/_en/baby/baby-gentle-cleansing-...

these are "washes" (some you don't have to rinse off. And these are good brands). or use it along with a soft paper towel to then wipe him dry after.

Good luck, these might be options to try, versus they typical diaper wipe type products. Or do a search on "diaper area washes" or "diaper area rinse-free washes" etc.

All the best,
Susan
