Designer Purse Swap....
Hello Ladies. I have a question does anyone know where I can "swap" my authentic Prada purse for a different purse? Times are tight for everyone and we are no exceptions. I have tried selling it but fancy purse's are not selling for anyone right now. Thanks!

My advice would be to try craigslist. Post that you are looking to swap. I would be VERY careful about doing the actual swap, though. Meet in a neutral area. Also, I would make sure to verse yourself in what makes the purse you are getting authentic. It is so easy to have a really good knock-off these days and you don't want to end up with less than you started with. I know pawn shops don't accept purses because it is too hard to verify their authenticity. You could also try ebay but again with the authenticity. Do you have a few girlfriends who also have designer bags? You could throw a swap meet, then everyone ends up with a new bag and you get to hang with the girls! Good luck :)

Actually there is a rise in purchases of designer bags. The recession or any downslide of the economy has more women buying bags and shoes to supplememt their wardrobe instaed of buying more clothes. A new bag changes everything. What may be the problem with trying to sell yours is how old it is. Specifically Prada. If it is from her classic nylon collection or any varience of what was her iconic bag you are out of luck to sell it. But if it is more current, like her metallics, umbre or silk then you could sell it on E-Bay easily. As far as swapping aside from CraigsList as was previously posted maybe you have a town paper/circular where you can ask about anyone interested in a swap, you'll probably get a response that way.

Why not invite people to a purse swap party at you place? Invite everyone you know and have each one of them invite one other person.
