We go to Max Buchwald and he is great. Very nice guy and his staff is all very nice. He does shots really well, too.

Don't know him but you can Dr. Terri Train in Richardson. She is great with the kids and very knowledgeable. I think she takes Cigna. The other doctor is Jeff Holt. His closest office to you would be in Plano at Parker & Tollway.

I have used "Dr. Buck" in the past and thought he was a very "nice" dentist. The complaint I have about him is that he was too "conservative". A conservative dentist is the type that says, "Well, I see what might turn out to be a cavity or need a root canal, but we'll just keep an eye on it". A more "liberal" doctor will say, "Let's take care of now what might turn bad later". I left him after he gave me a crown that turned out to have a nasty rotted cavity underneath which put me in emergency pain- need a root canal under it. He just likes to let things go for too long until they get real bad (and cause a lot of pain). After going through that pain, I'd rather have a dentist that wants to take care of things before they become emergencies. I still make the decision, ultimately, to fix it or not, but I want honesty from them on how bad it could be if left unchecked. And, I feel, it was a botched job on that crown (didn't get out all the stuff underneath).

Hey S.! Sorry but I do not know Max Buchwald. But if you are looking for a dentist in Richardson. I highly recommend Dr. Pietsch at Nutt & Pietsch in Richardson at Beltline & Plano Rd (next to McDonalds). I have been going to Dr. Pietsch for the past 8 yrs and he did all of my cosmetic denistry- LOVE that office!! I am pretty sure they accept Cigna- I think that is what I have, but call to double check-

ask to speak to Peggy, Jean or Vicki and they should be able to help you out
