Dentist - Frisco,TX

I am in need of a good quality ( but not expensive?!) dentist in the Dallas/Plano/Allen/McKinney area for an uninsured patient with major dental-phobia and several painful teeth needing immediate attention. Does anyone know of a dentist who might fulfill these criteria? Willing to drive to Dallas and beyond!! Thanks!

What can I do next?

I go to Dr. Tony in Allen on Main st. I tried several other dentists when I left Allen, but eventually went back to him because he and his staff are so good.

Try to see if you can get it Baylor School of Dentistry. They are in downtown, but it's very affordable.

Sounds like me 6 months ago. I finally bit the bullet (only because I broke a tooth)and went to Dr. Sam Patel in McKinney. He helped my phobia diminish significantly. Dr. Patel is quick, reasonably priced and very efficient.

I second the nomination for Dr. Patel in McKinney. We have not very good insurance, and he's worked with us to reduce costs and maximize benefits. He'll also break things down for you into "here's what you really need to do right now to stop the pain" versus "here are things you should probably think about long term, but we can space them out and cut you a deal to help you pay for them." He and his whole staff are super nice, too!

Dr. Hubbard in McKinney. I was TERRIFIED of the dentist for years, but he & his staff made me feel right at ease. Now it doesn't bother me to go at all anymore.

My DH is a great dentist in Prosper, and he usually leaves a slot open for emergency patients everyday if you need to get in quickly.
I do also know he created a preventive discount program for patients without insurance that people seem to love.
He currently has a couple of specials for mamasource members: http://www.mamasource.com/business/1673055270453968897
