We're looking for a dentist in the CL/Barrington/LITH area. We love our current dentist, but he's not a preferred provider in our plan and we end up paying quite a bit out of pocket. We would really like a dentist that is up on all the current dental technologies and has up-to-date equipment. IE...using laser to detect cavities. Our current dentist does this and it's so awesome! TIA!

I don't know about the laser to detect cavities, you could always ask.

I take my kids to Dr. Tony Minutillo --Crystal Lake Pediatric Dental.

Not sure of his current technology but he is wonderful with my kids - 3 and 5 y/o. I have been taking them there since they were about 18 months old.

The dentist that my husband and I go to is All Smiles Dental. 1452 Merchant Dr
Algonquin, IL 60102

I know they also see children but I have been so happy with Dr. Tony I have not switched my kids yet. All Smiles does have very up-to-date technology.

I hope this information helps.

You could google Biolase and search for a dentist in your area who uses the laser technology. You'll get a list, and then you can check with your insurance company whether any on the list is in your insurance network. That's what I did and found a dentist in Fox River Grove that way. I've been very satisfied with him but don't have small children anymore, so I don't know how he is with kids. He does have a little dispenser with small toys for "good kids" so I know he sees children. He's very gentle and calm with me! I see Dr. Zgoba, and have MetLife Dental.

We just switched to Faubl Dentistry in Huntley. (We live in LITH). The ENTIRE staff there is FABULOUS!! Small private practice--$75 off first visit if you mention their flyer!! My son was been very skeptical at another practice we were going to, he didn't want to go "back" by himself.....Dr. Faubl's office made him feel VERY comfortable and we just LOVE them.

GOOD LUCK!!

We take our 3 kids to Dr. Kathleen Schroeder and Dr. Scott Goldman in crystal lake, both pediatric dentists and they allow parents to come back to the area they work. Been going for 5 years now, kids love it because they get balloons at the end of the visit.
