Day Spa Recommendation

Hello Moms! I received a Spa Finder gift certificate for Christmas. I have had only one facial in my life and that was 10 years ago. I would like to get a facial, massage or some other very relaxing treatment. Can anyone recommend a Day Spa in the San Diego area? Also, any recommedations on what spa treatment/package to get would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance for your replies.

La Costa Resort and Spa is by far my favorite place. You can spend the whole day there - get your treatments in the AM, have lunch by the pool and then spend the afternoon lounging by the pool or in the sauna and catch up on your leisure reading. If the weather is nice, you can spend all day out there. Its wonderful.

La Estancia in La Jolla is wonderful! Be sure to go early so you can enjoy all the extra services and have lunch in the center restaurant.

La'Auberge in Del Mar has a new spa.

For an awesome massage, go and see Philip at the Affirmations Body Spa on Poway Rd., in Poway. I think you can use your gift certificate there.

$95 for 1.5 hours of relaxation.........wish I could go too :).

I know they do other things like facials and nails, but I have never had those services.

I go (although not as often as I would like) to Boston's Salon and Spa in Mira Mesa/Sorrento Valley area. Very nice and relaxing, clean and accommodating. I like a spa mani/pedi and a massage - relaxation, but they do MANY others. Have fun!
