Does anyone have any recommendations on daycare in the Naperville area? I have requested information and to visit Chesterbrook, Compass Schools, Crème de la crème, Peter Pan and Bright Start Child Care. Any thoughts are welcome! Thanks!

What can I do next?

My child has been at LaPetite Academy for a year and we love it!

It really just depends on what you are looking for for your child. Some of the larger centers that you mentioned are very focused on the educational component of things. Peter Pan, wouldn't waste my time on. Unfortunately don't know anyting about Bright Start Child Care, I think that's the one by Meijer. When you walk into whichever center you choose, you'll know in your heart that's the place where your family is meant to be. If you're interested in suggestions for home daycare/preschool, I have some referrals.

Hi J.,

I have friends with children in Chesterbrook and Creme de la Creme and they just love them. They are the Westmont, IL, locations, but I am sure any location would be good. Especially Naperville, since it is such a wonderful growing city. Best of luck to you in your pursuit.

We were with Compass for 4 years (until we moved) and both of my kids loved it there. Not sure where you are at, but they have two locations now, one at Naper and Hobson and the newer one is at 95th and Rte 59. The administration and teachers at both schools are absolutely wonderful. You can send me a message if you have any questions. Good luck in your search.

check out the Goddard School also. My daughter went to Peter Pan at the location on chicago avenue more than 20 years ago. It was awsome then and probably just as good now. My grandchildren went to the Goddard School and it was amazing. they have several locations.

Creative Children's Corner on the corner of Chicago/Maple and Naper is amazing

My best advice, from someone who worked in many centers - check out the supply cabinet. If it's full of extra toys, art supplies and odds and ends, it is a good center. If it's barren, even if there is stuff in each room, then the center doesn't invest in the classes but is in it for the profit.
