you know, same with me!
Jameson had a little bit of a runny nose and they all said it was teething, and he would cough and sometimes it would sound like a wet cough, other times it would sound like a barking sound. I was a mess. It got a little better, but when we went to Maryland, my husband and I both got sick and Jameson worsened too. Turned out it was a sinus infection and it also started the beginning of an ear infection.
My poor baby! And yours too!
Try to find a homeopathic doctor in your area, I thing there is a Dr. Linda Colon/ (sounds like Cologne) out west. Her office number is ###-###-#### and her cell is ###-###-####.
My Chiropractor, Dr. Amy Orta, SWEARS BY HER.

Clariton no, http://liveitdontdiet.isagenix.com/us/en/isakidssystem.dhtml YES!
My kids have been doing this for almost 3 years. Less than a handful of sick days between the two of them in all that time.
I know have a Family Nutritional Coaching practice that teaches parents EDUCATION NOT MEDICATION.

so keep her on the Claritin if that appears to be helping....and ASK your pediatrician to recommend an allergist. My daughter had similar problems when she was little and we actually needed to take her out of preschool, take all the stuffed animals and carpet out of her room, and add an air filter to her room (which really helped!) The good news is that she outgrew her allergies! Actually, we still have the air filter and haven't used it in years....I'll give it to you if you are local....it would be expensive to ship as it's quite heavy. I'm in Parkland. Anyway let me know if you want to come get the air filter or if you have any other questions....I would be glad to help.

M.,
Any cough that is persistent is not a good sign. I would change pediatricians immediately. If my son has a cough for more than 2 days my pediatrician wants to see him to make sure that it isn't his allergies / asthma.
Change ped right away.
Good luck.

I Would suggest seeing a different Dr. and getting a second look. When my daughter was 2 1/2 she had a constant cough, and runny nose from Aug-Mar. At first I thought she just kept getting colds but it turns out she has asthma. She doesn't wheeze like most people think asmatics do. She just coughs a lot. They Dr. gave her inhalers to use when things are bad and occasionally she use a nebulizer. She's now 4 and does much better now. I hope this helps.
