I don't know what area of town you are in, but my husband and I enjoy going to the Addison Improv for Comedy shows. Sometimes we will go to the Melting Pot for Fondue either before or after for a special dining experience. They are very close to each other. If you are still looking to go after all that there is Pete's Piano Bar by the Improv that does the funny entertaining dual piano playing - songs everyone knows and gets the audiance involved! Good luck and have fun!

Have you every been to a fondue place before? Those are kinda romantic and you get lots of talk time, too. It can be kinda expensive if you do the entire dinner and dessert thing, so if you're on a limited budget, then maybe just go there for dessert. I also think that coffee shops are great places to go on nice evenings because you can sit and talk for a long time, in a quiet atmosphere.

My husband and I recently went to 300 Dallas (http://www.threehundred.com/dallas.html) in Addison, and had a blast! It's bowling, but for grown-ups almost. :) Its a really nice place, kinda swanky... has really good music, really good food, with waiters that come to your area and stuff. There is no smoking and somewhat of a dresscode. There's a bar area with billiards and all that too. Its the fun of bowling without the nastiness of the smells and the weird people. haha! And it was just something different. We had a really great time... and definitely have recommended it to friends. :)
Have a fun date night!

G.,
There are several things you can do on date night. Go play putt putt golf, bowling, play pool, Speed zone-they have go carts, six flags, (for another week there is haunted house. I am not sure, but i think that the mueseum might be open that late. You could go to club and go dancing. If you want to ... stay home... either cook or order in a nice meal and play games... I hope these ideas help.

As someone else suggested, Four Day Weekend in Fort Worth is great! Go to their website to reserve tickets because they do sell out. It's right on Sundance Square where there is always something going on. There are plenty of places to dine there too. If you are looking for a good overnight date, we stayed at Etta's Place which is right there too. It's so nice!
Addison Improv is really fun too and there are many dining choices in the area.
Have fun!

Check out TopGolf in Dallas (http://www.topgolfusa.com/Locations/US/Dallas/Default.aspx). I've never golfed and had the best time! It's basically a driving range but with a twist. The balls have chips in them that keep your score after they are hit and land in targets. It is a lot of fun and if the hubby is into golf, he'll love it, of course, but if you show an interest as well, it could be something you guys love to do together!
Good Luck!
