Dark Cirlces Under Eyes
I have horrible dark circles under my eyes that make me look so tired and wore out. They are there every single day, all day. Working with a busy flooring company and meeting with clients on a daily basis, I always try to look my best. These circles are really starting to get to me. Does anyone have any ideas on getting rid of them, or concealing them?

Hey amanda ... I am 27 years old and I have had really bad circles under my eyes since I was born. They get so bad that I have been asked if I get ruffed up over the years. I am now a mommy and my daughter has them to. I have tried everything. I have been to the doctors and they said there is nothing I can really do its allergies.
The Doctor told me get more sleep take more vitamins that should work for you since its not a permanant thing...feel lucky I cant get rid of mine...lol

Hey Amanda, Caroline has the right idea except she has the wrong color. A makeup in a small square container by Physicians Formula (you can get it at walgreens or cvs and many other locations) seems to work best for me. But it is not green, it is yellow. Green works on dark spots and blemishes on the face but yellow neutralizes the dark color under the eyes. You can apply regular makeup right over the yellow eye makeup. Hope it helps

I use AVON - there is a product called Lighten Up - it actually lessens the bruising under your eyes. It's the kind of thing where you really don't notice it working - just all of sudden the dark circles aren't there any more. ~ T.

Hi Amanda~ I second the motion with the Arbonne products. They are pure Swiss skin care formulated in Switzerland and made in USA. They are great and you see the results in days. The NutriMinc RE Repair, has corrective eye creme that reduces the appereance of dark circles and puffiness besides firming and mostiruzing benefits. All the Arbonne products are botanically based, hypoallergenic, PH correct, dermatologist tested, never tested in amimals and formulated without animal products. Also, the concelears are wonderful. Hi Amanda, I had dark circles under my eyes for awhile and finally I went to the dr. I had a very serious sinus infection. I doubt that's what going on with you but it wouldn't hurt to see a doctor. It could be something that could be helped with medication. Good Luck.

Well, what make up do you use? If you use a liquid foundation, you can just apply that to the area under your eyes and that should help conceal the circles. A concealer that matches your skin tone can also help if the foundation isn't enough.
Remember to be very gentle with your under-eye area, apply anything with the inside of your ring finger, which applies the least pressure.

I had problems with dark circles also. I started to do research and talk to my doctor about it. Rest is the key. Also nutrients. I found that a part of my problem was that I was missing some very important nutrients from my body. I was demanding a lot from my body and not putting enough back in. I suggest that you do not use lightners and bleachers under your eye area. What they do is they cover but don't get to the source. I had to treat from the inside out and find a way to get more rest. I also begin using skin care products that are all natural and have supplement strength vitamins in them along with nourishing plant extracts that absorb right into your skin. Have you ever heard of Nicole Miller skin care an cosmetics? I can show you how to get them at 30%-40% less than department store costs. Remember talk to your doctor also.

I used to have the same problem under my eyes- my sister and I lovingly referred to them as "the family bags". I started using a product called NutriminC RE9. It has kojic acid in it- which is a natural skin lightener and it has really helped with my dark circles. I loved the product so much that I started working for the company. Let me know if your interested, I'll send you some samples!
