Whatever you do, STAY AWAY from the Sunshine Generation on Lake Otis. The woman who runs the place is a tyrant - an impossibly impatient person who gives every indication that she doesn't even *like* children. I sincerely believe she'd eat one if she could.

Afterthought - The Little Gym on Huffman is actually a great place for kids. I know they have some dance lessons, but I'm not sure if they start at age 3...

We take our 8 year old to Alaska Dance Theatre, but I think at age 3 all they offer is ballet. A friend of ours takes her daughter to Dance Spectrum of Alaska and she does a jazz/tap combo class and absolutely loves it. I think they offer more options for 3 year olds, too. I hope this helps.
