I am looking for a good dance instructor for my daughters, ages 3 and 5 years. It would be great if we could find something around 151st and Metcalf but I really just want to make sure that the teacher is very down to earth and great with kids. Can anyone recommend anyone?

We have taken lessons at Jody Phillip Dance Company (at 151st and Newton?) The teachers we've had were great and Jody is the nicest! I would recommend!!!
Try Diamond Gymnastics & Dance. The teachers were great when my son took a Mommy & me class. It was on 161 and Metcalf, but I know they were moving to a bigger building, but still in that area.
my daughter took lessons at Le Dance. I think that miss liz rocks!!! she is great with kids and teaches them a LOT. it is actually just south of 151st and a smidge east of metcalf!!

We just started at CYT.....Christian Youth Theatre. Their dance offices are just off of 153rd & Metcalf. They offer a variety of dance and voice lessons. During the summer and school year they also put on many musical/dance productions. My daughter just finished a week long camp called "Broadway Kids" and loved it. Her dance teachers are super nice and a lot of fun. Let me know if you would like their number.
