Dance and Gymnastics Attire for the Toddler Set
I recently enrolled my 2-year old at the Little Gym and in dance through her daycare. I wondered if anyone out there had any size 2T body suits, leotards etc. that I could take off your hands at a reasonable cost? Those things are so expensive new! And for a toddler, I think we could live with hand-me-down leotards.
Or maybe you know a good place where I don't have to spend $25 for each piece and carries her size. I know Target and Walmart carry those but the ones I've checked with only have sizes starting at a 4.
Thanks for any recommendations!

You can find 2T and up dance wear at Kid to Kid in Plano and Allen. You might also try once upon a child.

D.,
You should try Kid to Kid - they normally have stuff. I know the dance leodtards aren't near the cost of the gymnastics ones - the ones I buy for my daughter's gymnastics class are $35+ - but I will say this, she has worn them for almost 2 years, so definitely got my money's worth. The dance ones are about $20 - and I feel don't last as long. If you want to buy a new dance one (in a small size) there is a place on the square in Downtown McKinney - Backstage Dancewear (I think that's the name). I think Kohl's also has some dance leodtards as well.
Oh, some of the kids in my daughter's 2 year old gymnastics class wore one piece bathing suits as they can totally pass for leodtards......just FYI.
Good luck and have fun!! :)

Toys R Us has leotards, etc. They were on sale last week and I got one for my 2T daughter for about $6. I think their regular price is pretty low. Also, I had good luck at resale shops. Target DOES carry the 2T/3T size, but they sell out of it quickly. Also, the next size up in the Target leotard isn't all that big. We got one at a resale shop and it's fine. Once they have on tights, it's not a problem to be slightly baggy. Or, toss it in the dryer a couple times and it will draw up a little.

Did you try on the size 4 at Target? My daugher is now 3, but last year we needed leotards for tumbling. Even though they sounded really big, they fit perfectly. I've seen a rack of them at Kohl's (eldorado & 75) too but I didn't look at sizes.
