Has anyone ever used Dalworth to have their carpet cleaned, in particular their "Dry Steam" method. I am just curious as to what you thought about them. I am considering hiring them to have the carpets throughout our house cleaned.
Thanks!

I found Dalworth to be a bit expensive. I found these guys on the internet. They came and cleaned my carpets about 6 months ago and did a wonderful job. As a matter of fact you reminded me that I need to have them cleaned again (thanks). They were very affordable, professional and included a couple of services that other carpet cleaners charged extra for.

Homeowners believe Chem Dry can get rid of stains that steam cleaning could not and vice versa. There are no official studies to compare both cleaning processes, but since steam cleaning can leave water and chemicals behind, if you have small children or pets, you may wish to consider Chem Dry or just use plain hot water when steam cleaning. Both cleaning methods, however, work well and should be considered as a viable and effective option.

I did not have a good experience with them. For one, they are overpriced. I decided to schedule a cleaning anyway and paid an extra $200-300 or so (this was about three years ago) for the pet urine cleaning. It was supposed to get the cat urine smell out of our carpet. However, I noticed the smell lingered even after the cleaning, so I called back to get another appointment. It is like jumping through hoops to get them to follow through on their "guarantees." First, they were going to send a "manager" to come check the carpet smell and verify the smell was still there. Hello? Why not just believe the customer that's telling you the smell is still there? How do you even challenge that? So, the manager came out and he wasn't going to do the re-clean because "it wasn't that bad." Hello again? That was literally what he said. As in, he could smell it and admitted it, but wasn't sure if he wanted to re-clean it. After a lot of convincing, he finally got on the phone with the company and had to then convince them that the carpet needed to be re-cleaned. After the second cleaning, the smell finally went away, but I couldn't believe I paid an extra $200-300 for the pet odor guarantee, just to have to convince them to follow up on it.

I agree with the previous poster that buying a steam cleaner might be the way to go. Although, you shouldn't be pushing a heavy cleaner around at this stage of pregnancy! ;) We've loved ours and it's so nice to have it on hand and not have to wait several days for a professional company to come out.

I was not impressed with Dalworth, Stanley and most especially Kiwi. Dalworth also outsources the people that clean. Last time they were here, a plain white van showed up at my home and I had no idea who it was until I called Dalworth and confirmed it was them.

I have resorted to doing it myself with a Bissell cleaner that has a hot water heater on board. I am on my 2nd Bissell. Keep in mind though, I am cleaning a fairly large house and we have 3 dogs (with limited area access) and 1 child.

I would go with Stanley Steemer instead. I used Dalworth years ago and I was not all that impressed. Yes the carpets were clean and looked good but I think that they are a little over priced. I have been using Stanley ever since and I am much happier. They do a really good job and they are priced very fair. I actually just had them come out like a week ago. Give um a call.

We used a coupon from Sears for 4 rooms for either $79 or $89, and we loved it! Our carpet was just old and needed a professional cleaning - no smell issues - but they did a super job for cheap. It looked amazing afterwards.
