Dallas Caterers?

I'm having a pool party for my son's first birthday for both adults and a some kids. I love to cook but think it might be smarter to make it easy on myself and hire a caterer, especially for a hot outdoor event. I am not looking for anything fancy or expensive . . . just one dish for kids and one for the grown ups. Does anyone have any suggestions of caterers that serve the Richardson area?

What can I do next?

Thank you everyone for the wonderful suggestions. I ended up making a huge pasta salad with grilled chicken for the adults and ordered pizza for the kids. Worked out perfectly!

I've had to use caterers several times for work events. A few I have used and had good luck with - On the Border, Celebration Catering (both delivered in the Richardson area), BBQ from various places but my favorite is Back Country on Greenville Ave & Olive Garden (they don't deliver). They all have websites so you can look up their menus.

Chili's and On The Border have party platters. I always got the fajitas, chips & salsa, beans & rice for our adult parties - I don't remember the prices but it was reasonable. They have wings, ribs, fajitas, margarita chicken etc...

Dickey's and Red Hot N Blue do on-site catering or you can pick up items in the quart size, etc. they are fairly inexpensive rather than a caterer. Also Central Market has their catering dept (Market Street might as well but i'm not sure) where you can order the items from the catering menu and you can either have it delivered to you or you can pick it up. I'm not sure if they do on-site catering or not...just a few suggestions :-)
Good luck!

I don't, but how about hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. Buy whatever else you need at Sam's or Costco.
