Daddysource

My brother-in-law is about to become the SAHD. Is there a Daddysource out there? Can he join mamasource? I feel this is such a great website for help with the little ones. It is great to be able to get advice from people that have been there and done that. I want to give him the same opportunities out there. It took me 21/2 yrs to find this website and it has been the abosolute best thing. What is your opinion of a dad on mamasource?

What can I do next?

I found this in an msn article today after reading this post I saved it. This is a website for stay at home dads, to find play groups, support groups and advice. I have not looked at it but that is waht the article listed it for. Good Luck.

Sure! He can join, but we may be too "girly" for him :-)

Apparently there are some Dads groups already going in the DFW area:

And this looks like some kind of Daddy blog:

I dont know if there is a daddysource but I dont see any reason why he cant join this site. Tell him to do a google search for daddy chat rooms if he does not feel comfortable with this one. Good luck!!!

I vote for any parent being able to join this site. Whoever wants to help themselves become a better parent or give out great advice is welcome here anytime (in my opinion)!

I agree. I don't see why dad's can't join this dialogue either. It is such a great resource.

Y'know, I felt like I had seen some dads on here -- maybe we just have some moms with really boylike names? :-) Either way, I think it's great and don't see why he can't join as long as someone refers him (which obviously you would), as that seems to be the only stipulation. If he can stand all our girl chatter, of course :-) but I guess he can pick which emails to read.

I asked my husband if he felt maybe a daddy website would help him, because of his schedule he is blessed to be a stay at home daddy three days during the week. He replied, "Why, honey I know everything". MEN :)
But we are looking forward to posts that may have some ideas.
