Cyst/pimple Thing Under My Eye for a Month!!
I had a blackhead under my eye. I tried to use a blackhead tool to get rid of it and a few hours later, it was one of those deep, cyst-y painful zits that you can't pop. Obviously, it's right under my eye too, so not exactly in a spot that is ideal to pinch. That was a month ago and this stupid thing will NOOOOOOOOT go away! I've been trying to keep makeup off of it, and keeping clearasil on it, but alas, it remains. Sigh! Any suggestions?? Please???
And no, it's not a sty. It's at the bottom on my eye socket, not on the lid.

My daughter had an ingrown eyelash. Is that a possibility? If it were me, I'd head to the 1st Care Now Clinic I found and have them take a look.

I get those on my eyelids - some are there for up to a year before they will finally pop. You could try taking a sterile needle to it, and just prick it enough that you might be able to pop it. Wait for a day when you aren't doing anything for a few days afterwards because it will probably look worse for a few days. Try icing it after you pop/attempt to pop it to minimize swelling and redness.
I walked around all day at Disney World with a half swollen closed eye because I messed with one the night before.

It could be a clogged duct or pore...
Go to the doctor... they have to check it and see what it is.

If it really is a pimple...go to the dermatologist. For like $25 (in my area) they can inject it with Cortisone and it will be gone the next day!

I think it is a sty, but I dont' hav ethe firs tidea how to treat it. I have had a couple in my life and ileft them alone and they go away. Call your PCP and ask the nurse for ideas. They might want to see you or might be able to suggest something over the phone.

are you sure its a blackhead and not a sty(sp)? About 2 yrs ago my daughter kept getting stys on her left eye and one morning she had a huge one that looked like a giant white head! I took her to med express and they told me to lift her eyelid(its was on the top) take a qtip and clean it with baby shampoo twice per day and to rinse it really really well with water after the shampoo. The first time I touched it with the qtip it burst open and all this puss and blood oozed down her little face! So gross! lol......sorry.....so anyway. It looked like a white head but was a sty and cleaning it with the baby shampoo healed it in about a week! Worth a shot!

I had one in my bottom eyelashes and I had to have my dad use a needle to get it out. I didn't want him to do it, but It was to the point that it HAD to go.
