Cute Nursing Clothes

Does anyone know of a great place to buy inexpensive (but trendy) nursing clothes in the NWA area (or online)? The few boutiques I've looked in have a tiny selection and charge WAY too much. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

Kudos to you for nursing! It is a challenge that is well worth it! Check consignment stores, Mom 2 Me (B-ville J and Central), 9 Months later ( Lowell on Biz 71 near County Line Rd) and Little Darlings (B-ville but Helping Hands) might have some. Also, a friend who is nursing was just raving about some tops at Kohl's that aren't for nursing, but work great. They are stretchy material with a criss-cross front over the bodice and she just pops out and nurses. I think they are Sonoma, but they have many brands like that. Also, I wore peasant tops that I could just pull down one side. Good Luck to you and your baby!

I personally thought it was easier to just wear a loose fitting knit shirt and pull it up, esp at home. Buttons are good if you are going out as long as you aren't wearing something tucked in underneath. I know you can find camisoles that clip at the top like nursing bras-but I'm not sure where to find them. You could try resale shops like Once Upon A Child in Fayettville, or Little Darlings in Bentonville, they of course will have much better prices, but you never know what they may or may not have. I know I never had anything specifically for nursing (except bras) because the prices were outrageous!

I never needed nursing clothes. A lot of my tops and dresses were easy, some I can just bring it out of the top, or slide down the strap. If your modest try wearing a thin cami under your shirt and bring it out the top of that and pulling your shirt up, this way your covered on top and the cami underneath covers your stomach. This works well when your wearing a dress too, just pull up the cami and slide down a strap of the dress. I found ways to make my clothes work so I didn't have to sacrifice my style. Also never needed a nursing bra.

Not much in the way of nursing clothes in NWA (I tried to find some and like you said way to expensive) even when I needed them. I would try online like e-bay or even garage sales (I found several large shirts that I converted into nusing clothes that way. Good luck
