Pot roast... throw in potatoes, carrots, bay leaves, some seasoning, can of beef broth... delish!!

Chicken chili... frozen chicken breasts or tenders, add salsa (or canned diced tomatoes), beans (drain any kind except black beans), can or frozen corn, can of chicken broth, season with taco seasoning or chili powder or both

There are some really good crockpot recipe cookbooks out there, or google crockpot recipes.

My husband loves when I make beef stew. You can make it with steak chunks or hamburger meat, either is great. Also could use chicken, I have used all the above. Add some broth, carrots, celery, potatoes, and onion, let it cook for a few hours and it will taste so good.

I have also thrown in some pork chops with some potatoes or rice and let it cook and turned out really juicy and good.

So many possibilities!

This is my favorite, because it's sooo easy, and you only need 5 ingredients. The other thing I like is that it only takes 4 1/4 to 5 1/4 hours on low. I'm a SAHM. I throw it together at lunch time and it's ready at dinner. All I do is make some rice, frozen veggie, and maybe a salad. I got the recipe from a Taste of Home mag. and my family loves it. I like to let it cook 5 1/4 hours or more, and you could cut it with a fork :)

sweet n' sour pork chops

1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple
1 cup honey BBQ sauce (I like Sweet Baby Ray's)
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons chili sauce
4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless) 3/4 inch thick

Mix 1st 4 ingredients in a small bowl.
Pour half into the crock pot, add the chops, then add the remaining sauce. Cook on low 4 1/4 to 5 1/4 hours or until meat is tender.

i like chicken in the crock pot. I brown it first which is a bit time consuming, but then layer some carrots and celery on the botton and a little liquid and then the chicken.

I like pulled pork in the the crock pot too. no recipe off the top of my head.sorry

throw in a bunch of boneless chicken breasts with a botttle of italian dressing, cook on low all day. shred and use for tacos, salads, add bbq sauce and put on buns, enciladas, etc. same thing for boneless pork chops. also throw in a frozen roast with some cut up potatoes and veggies and cook on low all day. good stuff!!!
