Cream Colored Lace Socks

My daughter is in a wedding on 3/17 and I need cream colored lace socks to match her dress. Any suggestions? I just started looking and couldn't find them at Wal-Mart, and may hit Carters and Children's place tomorrow, but I need more suggestions. I don't want her to wear tights, but she needs some kind of sock so her shoes don't give her blisters.

What can I do next?

I just bought a two pack of "dress" socks with lace around the cuffs...very cute...the pack had one black, and one cream pair. I bought them at Target. Hope that helps!

(This is just kind of funny to me, because I really needed a pair of cream socks for my daughter to wear. All of her church dresses have cream, not white, and I just happened to see this pack in the store and almost started jumping up and down!!)

I'm pretty sure they had them in all the children sizes, from toddler up through full sized.

Stride Rite usually has a nice selection of socks.

When I was little my mother used to dye things with tea. She would make tea and put the fabric in the tea and let it sit. You might try that if you can't find them.

Cream/ivory frilly socks would most likely be sold at a bridal shop or some other formal place. Especially cream colored. No one wears cream anymore. They wear white99% of the time. Too bad you can't order some online. That way you could get some really cute ones.

Maybe Janie and Jack, Babies R Us, Target or Gymboree. Easter dresses are coming out in stores so I woud think someone would have something.
Maybe take a walk in the mall.
I know I've gotten cream tights at Target but you said that's not what you're looking for.

Babies R Us has some.
