Crazy Looking for Doubles Strollers with Infant Car Seats
I am going crazy looking for the great double stroller that will fit 2 infant car seats. I will have 4 infants soon and am so confused about what makes a good one. I have narrowed it down to the Graco and the Peg perego (which is VERY expensive). Any suggestions.

Hi there-
I have the Graco double strollers/car seats. They work just fine. We got them from Sears, and I don't think it was too terribly expensive. I would suggest going for the Graco over the Peg Pergo. There's really no need to spend the extra money. The Graco stroller has accomodated us just fine.

I have 11 month twin boys and used the Graco double stroller. It was great. When they were infants in their car seats, I snapped the seats in. Now that they are a little older, they sit in the stroller. I have this Graco front/back and then a side/side jogger stroller. I take the Graco whenever I go shopping, or need to go on errands. I take the jogger walking or other various outings.
The only problem I've had with the Graco is that there is limited storage. I bought a couple of hooks that I can hang shopping basket or bags and a net bag that hangs on the back to put stuff in.
Godd luck!!
P.S. I think you are located in Windsor, CO? Anyway, the Fort Collins Parents of Multiples Club is having a sale this weekend as well. It's located at The Edge Sports Center just east of I-25 and Highway 14 (Mulberry).

I have twin daughters and we purchased the Graco Duo Glider Quattro and we really like it. We still use it and our daughters are 10 months old (they are pretty petite though). It's a little bit heavy but it rides really easily, has plenty of space in the bottom and looks really cool overall. We have gotten a ton of compliments when we're out. Hope this helps and good luck!

Hi,
Go online to strollers4less.com. I have a friend who is getting ready to deliver twin boys and she already has a 3 year old and a one year old, so she is pretty much in the same boat as you. We found one stroller that fits 4 kids, but it is $399.00 to $99.00 YIKES!!! But her oldest one is already over 30 pounds and that is the biggest that you can sit in the 4 seater stroller. I think that my friend has decided to go with a lite weigh stroller for the twins just so that she isn't braking her back with it. Not sure what she will do with the other 2 but she didn't want to try to push 2 double strollers at the same time. Her life is going to be crazy very soon, I don't see her leaving the house much with 4 kids, she will probably have to have help when she has to take the kids for appointments. Hope that this helps you out some. Take care!

I don't know how often do you check this but right now this stroller is on E-bay but the auction expires in 2 hours and it is 10:40 pm. It is a very good deal and it's for pick-up in SCottsdale. E-bay is great for strollers - you can get them for quarter of the price there... Hope it helps, M..

Four babies! Wow girl! I have twins, can't imagine adding two more to that! What fun, you must be so excited!
I don't have a specific brand to recommend but I have a friend who had a double Peg and really did not care for it. I had a Safety First and it was great when the babies were still little. It was a tandem stroller, we graduated to a side by side when they got bigger (about 18 months old) because the tandem was getting hard to push with that much weight out in front. But, I would not want a side by side when they are little, too much hassle with door ways and narrow places.
The Albuquerque Mothers of Twins Club (which you need to join before you have your babies if you live around ABQ) is having our semi-annual garage sale this weekend. It is Saturday morning at 7am at the Montgomery Church of Christ on Montgomery near Louisianna (will be signs) You could come to that and see if there are any good used ones you are interested in. A lot of times there are some really nice, used travel systems. If you wanted to join the club before that (I know I know) you could shop Friday night before it opens to the public. Email me privately if you are interested in that info: ____@____.com
Congrats!! If my twins are half the fun as your four will be then you are going to have so much fun! What a blessing!

Dear D.-
I had the same delima trying to find a double stroller. I had a Peg Prego (single) for my daughter, and was always jealous of the room my girlfriends Graco had. (She often would put part of my bags when we went shopping underneath in her Graco because my Peg Prego would barely hold my Purse and a very small diaper bag) - (I thought the Peg Prego was the best, so I purchased it off of reviews.) - I shopped between the two when I needed a double, and decided on the Graco. I could not be happier with the Graco. It is lighter, has more storage, and is easier to handle than even my single Peg Prego. I went and looked at the double Peg Prego and tried pushing it around the store before I purchased. Just from my personal experience, I like the Graco way more. Just my 2 cents. Good luck!!

My sister-in-law had twin boys and loved the double decker jogger stroller - www.doubledeckerstroller.com. A little pricey, but it wasn't so hugh. When the boyz got bigger, she got a cheap umbrella type stroller for twins. You might be able to find a deal on something through ebay or some areas have used twin sales. Check out twin clubs in your area - good place to find slightly used items for twins.

I have twins and 2 older boys. We decided on the Graco Duo Glider. It's been great! It easily snaps in two car seats, its light weight and inexpensive. It is easy to maneauver, has lots of storage and folds down with literally a turn of your wrist. As the kids get out of their car seats it is nice for when they sit up. Each seat lays back too. The back seat folds to a laying position and the front reclines, but its enough for the baby to go to sleep. I would usually prop their head up straight with a blanket. It has definately held up to all the use we've given it. When you have multiples you use it daily. Unlike having one baby you can't just grab one out of the car and run in, you must get out the stroller even for stamps at the PO. Thanks , C.
