My husband and I have decided to try for baby #2, yayyyyy!!!! We had sex on the 11th, 12th, and 13th day of my cycle since I think that's when I was ovulating,( had the milky discharge so I'm almost positive that's when it happened). The morning of the 14th day of my cycle, I noticed some cramping, like when I do before I start my period. Could that have been when implantation was taking place? I should mention, when I got pregnant with our first child I had alot going on in my life at the time and never noticed the signs, if there were any. I didn't even realize I had missed my period until a friend asked about it when I hiccuped at dinner, lol. I chalked it up to stress. TIA :)

What can I do next?

Implantation happens 7 -10 days AFTER ovulation. You had sex. Yes, you could be pregnant. You just wouldn't have had implantation so early.

Wait until you can take a test.

seriously? come on now, you had sex and did not use protection. of course it is possible. there is no one that can tell you just by knowing the days you ovulated and had sex. go to the store in a week or two and buy a test. wait until you are late or if you just cant wait at least hold off until a day or so before you are supposed to start.

If you had sex and weren't using protection then you could be pregnant.

You haven't missed a period yet, so any tests would likely be inaccurate at this point. When/if you miss a period then take the test and find out! Just be prepared either way. I was SURE that I was pregnant with my second child the first month we were "trying" because I was crampy, bloated and tired... of course those are also PMS symptoms. We were preggers the second month, but test to find out. Anything else is simply guessing/hoping!

Good luck and best wishes.

The cramping could have been ovulation, it would be too early for implantation. The discharge you want to look for is egg white consistency but you probably had sex within the window. A good resource is www.fertilityfriend.com but it's best not to stress too much. It will happen when it's meant to. Good luck!

did you have sex? then yes, you could be pregnant. i have never in my life heard that hiccups are a sign of pregnancy, but more power to you. i would buy a pregnancy test in a couple of weeks. then you'll know.

Implantation wouldn't occur on the 14th day of your cycle if you had sex the 11th-13th and those were the days you were fertile. Implantation would occur between 7 and 10 days after doing the deed if you had sex while ovulating. The cramping was likely ovulation, not implantation. Implantation is often a sort of... burrowing of the embryo which results in very light, dotty spotting.

You could be pregnant, but it's too early to speculate until you've missed your period and then visited your OB. The home tests let you test earlier and earlier, and they may be accurate, but nothing is really more accurate than waiting for a missed period and getting confirmation from a doctor at 8-10 weeks by blood test and ultra-sound that the pregnancy is viable.

You have wanted to be pregnant for over four years but really...posters should be ashamed of themselves?? Negative nellies?? Nobody called you an idiot! You asked a pretty straight forward question and received very straight forward answers.

You have to wait until the day you are due then take a test. The is like 99%+ accurate. Call your doc for follow if you are, which I am sure you would do anyways.
It is more likely you felt ovulation. Which still means you could be pregnant. Sperms can chill a few days unlike the egg which has like a 12 hour window I believe.
Congrats if you are

Like others have said it could have been ovulation that you felt. When you ovulate, from my personal experience, the pain in on one side or the other, not both. It was of course alternates each month. When I got pregnant with our son, I had ovulated the day before. He was my second child. We have 6 years in between our kids, which I love. It just happened that way and wasn't planned.

good luck

Don't know....but I would write down the date of the cramping just in case you are.

The best thing to do is wait until you're late for your period then take a test. I have more pregnancy symptoms between ovulation and my cycle that's PMS than I do for actual pregnacies. I finally decided that I'm not pregnant until I'm actually late. Then I can start wondering. Otherwise, I drive my self nuts.
