Could Depression, Anxiety, Be the Cause for My Fatigue?

Ok, you guys usually have tons of good advice, so I need your help.
For the past few weeks I have been extremely fatigued and irritable. More fatigued than anything.
I get 7 hours of sleep per night and I usually end up taking a nap sometime during the day, but I'm still so dang tired! Our money situation is really stressing me out right now, and I've been having some depression, but mostly high anxiety. I have a diagnosed anxiety disorder that is untreated right now because I'm breastfeeding my 11 month old.
I have been losing weight, which is not good b/c I am now down from 105 to 95. I eat well, take prenatals, drink ensures, etc, so I am getting worried about myself. I have a dr. appt on Friday, but wanted beforehand to get some advice from people who have been through it.
I think I need to get back on my xanax, but don't want to quit breastfeeding yet. I'm so torn between her health and mine. What should I do?

What can I do next?

Depression can cause fatigue for sure. If the xanax helped you then you should truly consider going back on them. Both of my boys were on formula and both are and always have been extremly healthy and happy besides she'll be starting whole milk in a month. Plus you're probably not the mother you could be if you took better care of yourself. Get better.

Hello!
I tried fish oil for depression and fatigue. It has helped ! I take 2000 mgs a day(2 capsules). It is inexpensive and healthy. You can get at Walmart or WHole foods or natural health food store.
Also, vitamin b 12 , vitamin b 12 shots, iron prescription all helps!
Getting to bed early helps!
God bless to you and family!
Blessings!

Talk with your doctor, but I feel that fatigue, irritability and anxiety and depression all go together. I feel less irritable and seem to have more energy now that I have a medication for anxiety.

I breastfeed both my children. When my daughter was 10 1/2 months old I had to stop because I was in my second trimester with my son. It was causing me to have contractions. I had the same feelings you are having, but remember your health is very very important. Your daughter has been breastfeed long enough she will be fine. If you need the medication to help you feel better than please take it. It will do anyone any good it you get sick and cannot care for you daughter. As far as money goes it is just money. I know it can be very stressful if you let it. Maybe have your husband take over the bills so you don't have to stress so much about it.
