Contempo School of Dance

Hi D.,

My family goes to Contempo & we love it. This year my daughter took Combo 1, I took adult tap & my son & I did Mommy & Me. All of us loved our classes & the teachers there are terrific! I have heard nothing but great things about all of the teachers at Contempo. Personally we had Ms Jade & Ms Lani(the owner) & both of them are wonderful with parents & children alike.

We've been going to Contempo now for the past 3 years & every year has been a great experience.

My daughter was 6 years old when she went there. The teachers and staff are awesome. For starters and learning the basics they are a good school. Plus they have a variety of classes to choose from. Good Luck!

We have been at this school for 6 years now. My oldest daughter, who will be 10 next week, started when she was almost 4. My other daughter, who will be 5 in 2 weeks, took Combo I for 2 years. She had Ms. Jade and Ms. Ashley, respectively. I have even taken a class there as an adult in jazz.

We have had most of the instructors at one point or another - Ms. Kim is going off to college this fall (Go Gators) and there will be some new faces added. All are good. We are particularly fond of Ms. Ashley - as we have watched her grow up and adore her so! :)

Ms. Lani's pricing is another plus - the more classes you take the more of a discount you receive - which is a plus. But - we do it because I personally think it's a great activity for my girls and am so delighted that it's out here in Pasco County - therefore eliminating the need to travel into Tampa for a similar venue.

I give it 4 and 3/4 stars (out of 5).

I just signed my daughter up for that class and I am so excited! I have heard wonderful things about the school. I will let you know how it goes!

My 6 year old just finished her fourth year there and is on the Mini Tap team and my 2 year old took Mommy and Me this year, and I even took a tap class. So I guess you could say we like it there. Everyone is very nice there, but we like to take Ms. Lani (the owner I think she basically teaches high level tap though - although sometimes combo during the day) Ms. Nicole is a mommy type teacher, Ms. Ashley and Ms Michelle are young, both very good. (Ms. Ashley babysits sometimes as well) Ms. Kathleen and Ms. April are nice in the studio, but none of us has had them (thier sisters) I believe there may be some new teachers to the school this year as well.
