Considering Uterine Eblation Surgery-Any Advice Welcome
Hi, I'm a mature, SAHM who has been suffering for 5 years with horrible menstrual cramps and heaving bleeding. My OBGYN has suggested I consider uterine eblation surgery, which would essentially burn away the thick, heavy uterine lining. This is supposed to relieve the horrible cramps and heavy bleeding.
Has anyone ever had this procedure done? If so, please write back with your experience of the surgery and healing period. Thanks.

I am a member of an online woman's group and just today someone posted about it and got a very positive response back from those who have had it. According to what one woman wrote, you will not be able to carry another child after you have this done. And you will have to use birth control. But it did relieve her bleeding. Best of luck to you.

Hi
My name is S. M. and I've had that surgery. I used to suffer from serious cramps, heavy bleeding the whole nine yards. The surgery was the best thing for me. I haven't had any problems since.
