Community Events
Hello All.. Happy Sunday. I was wondering if anyone knows good websites to get local goings on. Such as craft fairs, carnivals, holiday and all kinds of stuff to go to. I am sure there are websites to check these things out I just haven't come across any yet. Thanks for help in advance. Take care..

Hi! Just wanted to share a website that I LOVE!! www.dallaschild.com
The site has some great info for the DFW area. If you sign up for a FREE online account there is a place where you can subscribe to a weekly email that is called THE WEEKEND. This email comes every week and tells you of the upcoming weekend ideas of things going on in the area. I have found it very helpful, especially when I'm stumpted for ideas!
Check it out...
Enjoy!

Hi H.,
Check out guidelive.com. That is a great site that you can get lost in, and one website will lead you to another site, which will lead to another, etc.
I also find Meetup.com to be a great place to find social events. I'm part of Moms group on there, and the organizers literally plan something EVERYDAY - usually 3 times per day. I don't know how the organizers find the events, but they do, and it's a great resource!
Good luck!

We mostly feature activities and events in Lewisville, Flower Mound, Highland Village, Grapevine, Coppell, The Colony, Lake Dallas, etc., but occasionally have information on other events as well. In "our area" though, you won't find anyone with more comprehensive coverage of family activities.
Our BEST resources: Our weekly newsletter (be sure to subscribe - we NEVER share or sell email addresses) and our online calendar. Both can be found on our website.
