Cloth Diapers - Columbus,OH

So I have a bunch of BumGenius 2.0 diapers and I want to upgrade to their new 4.0 version. I actually would keep these, as Cotton Babies now offers repair kits for the elastic and velcro closures that are $1, but I am no seamstress, and the few I tried to fix took me forever. I'm just not feelin' it! Has anyone ever sold their diapers back to Cotton Babies? They are pretty strict about how the diapers must be and you don't know if they will accept them until they have them to inspect. Wonder if its better just to offer on Craig's List? Thoughts? BTW, has anyone tried the new 4.0's?

What can I do next?

I have sold on diaperswappers.com and it was very easy!

Try diaperswappers (like Sarah D. said)!

I would try CraigsList first because you'll get more money that way than selling them to Cotton Babies. (I just looked yesterday actually out of curiosity - for EXCELLENT condition 3.0s, they will only give you $7.50 each. They won't even take anything that's not in excellent condition.)

Put them on CraigsList first and see what kind of bites you get. There are bound to be people out there looking for them who know how to sew and won't mind fixing them themselves - especially if you offer the ones that need fixed for a little less. Gently Used Condition seems to be going for around $10 each, so if they need fixed, maybe $8 each?

I sent mine back when the elastic wore out, covered by their 12 month warranty. They honored it and sent back brand new 3.0's and quickly. Haven't sold them back tho. I'd try CL first.

I know there are people online that will fix the elastic for you if that's what you want. People on diapper swappers are always looking to buy used diapers they can fix themselves, but you would probably only get around 5 or so dollars a diaper.

Do you have a friend that sews at all? Elastic and velcro is pretty easy so you don't need an advanced seamstress. Just wash really really well so your friend wouldn't feel grossed out. Is that possible at all?
