Cleaning Stainless Steel - Racine,WI

We have stainless steel appliances - for the most part I can keep the finger prints, etc at bay with either stainless steel cleaner or vinegar. BUT, there are a few stains-like water stains on the front of the dishwasher that I can't get rid of no matter what.

Is there a solution for this or do I have to just 'live' with that look?

I use a little soft scrub. Once I have finished using that, I put a very thin coat of baby oil on top. Works well for me. Good luck

A product called "Bar Keepers Friend". You can find it where you would find Ajax and other cleaners.

Absolutely MAGIC ERASERS!!! Just cleaned pretty much our whole house with those babies. Takes crayon off walls, marker off wood, etc.......

409 works great on appliances..my mom uses windex. Just another thing to try.

Have you tried rubbing alcohol?

I have small stainless steel applicance and I clean them with rubbing alcohol. Works like a charm! Good luck.

A little baking soda on a damp rag would probably do the trick, too!

Howard Naturals makes an awesome stainless steel cleaner. It works great, it's all natura and it smells wonderful.

I havent tried on appliances but on our sink those Magic Erasers work really well... you could always give it a shot.. I swear by those things.
