Cleaning Products Made at home...any Ideas?

I like using hot water and vinegar. It works, it is cheap and it is non-toxic! I clean tile floors with it and counter tops.

I keep a mixture of vinegar and water with a few drops of dish soap in a spary bottle as a glass and multi-purpose cleaner. The soap cuts through the left over build-up from other cleaners.

The other cleaner that I keep on hand is made of baking soda and liquid laundry detergent. Just stir enough detergent into the baking soda to make it a consistency about like the commercial soft scrubbing cleansers and use to scrub tubs, toilets, counter tops etc.

I found both of these recipes in a magazine several years ago and they work well. Best wishes, K.

I put water and some lemon juice in a bowl and nuke it in the microwave. The moist heat and acidity from the lemon juice work great to loosen up food and grease in the microwave. No scrubbing just wipe clean.

Vinegar is great for cleaning glass, countertops and removing hard water build up.

i have a solution of white vinegar and water in a spray bottle at all times. i use that to clean counter tops, fridge doors etc...things that grubby hands are on all the time. i find this is better than a sponge which spreads all the germs across the counter tops. you can add an essential oil to make it smell good too if you want :)
