Church That Has Women's Group and Something for the Kids

Hi! Liberty Baptist Church in Chelsea (my church) has a program once a month, called Moments for Moms. It is a great time to be with other moms. It is the first Friday of every month, from 9-11:30, and childcare is provided. In addition, there are several great women's Bible studies - I am participating in one on Wednesday nights, while my son is in the preschool department. Let me know if you'd like more information.

Valleydale Church is on Valleydale Road just past 65 north as you head toward 280.

Our service times are 9:30 and 11:00.

We have a preschool program at the same times as worship.

Women's Bible study three times a week and Mommy Connection once a month - all with childcare.

We have a wonderful mom's group that meets the 3rd Friday of every month at Morningstar United Methodist Church in Chelsea (off Hwy 11 next to Chelsea High Shoool). (www.morningstarumc.com) It's called M.U.M.S. - Mothers Uplifting, Mentoring,& Serving. We have speakers, refreshments, free childcare...it's just a great time of fellowship and fun. Hi! just wanted to let you know about Liberty Baptist Church in Chelsea. We have a great program for kids on Wednesday nights with choir and missions (GAs and RAs) for those ages and several Bible studies at the same times for adults. There are also some that meet on Tues. mornings and Sunday afternoons. Some friends of mine attend First Baptist Columbiana and I think they have some good programs also, I am just not as familiar with those. How far south are you? If it's not too far, acome to Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church on Hwy 119 and Hwy 14 (this is north Shelby Co. near Oak Mtn. schools) They have lots to offer for what you've mentioned. If that's too far, Westwood Baptist in Alabaster (behind new Promenade shopping center) or Evangel Presbyterian in Alabaster (off Thompson Rd near Berryhill subdivision) both would be good. Are all of those too far?

Wilton Baptist Church, Wilton, AL 35187 (1 mile south of Lucky's on Hwy. 25. Much activity going on for all ages. Montevallo Chief of Police, Kevin Peters and wife, Sharon, are the youth group leaders.
