Hi M.,

We would love you to visit with us on Sunday at Fellowship of Frisco at Coit and Lebanon.

We are a non-denominational church but with Baptist principals (Salvation, Baptism, Baby dedications etc.) We have a great Kids program going on. Our church is growing from the inside out so we have a lot of kids in your child's age group.
Check out our website at www.fofrisco.com and call me if you have any questions ###-###-####

I am not baptist but have attended community and non demoninational type of churches in the past. We are currently in a very sound scripturally, mature Assembly of God and love it. We are christian's first as we put it here but have happened to fall in love with the church we decided to make our home church.
Now I have heard that Four Corners is very good that way, it is more of a non denominatioal almost Baptist feel. I also heard the Cotton Creek or Wood down the way was fine too.
I will be praying that you find a great church that your family will feel comfy in.

I heard there is a great non denominational church in Frisco, called Celabration, I think. I really don't know much about it though.

I go to a small non-denom church in Mckinney called New Covenant church, and I love it.

I hope that helps some.

I live in west Frisco and I attend First Baptist, The Colony. I don't know how far that is for you....but it's really a great church. Our 10:30 service is contemporary worship with a great band. My husband and I teach one of the married couple classes at 9:00. We have amazing amount of programs focused on preschool, children and youth. I'd love for you to come and visit. We're a block east off the corner of Main St. (423) and South Colony Blvd. If you're interested, email me back and I'll watch for you and make sure you get to the right class. L. M.

Hi M.,

I hope you find a new church home soon. Especially with having a 14-month old! I have an 18-month-old and know how good it feels to have a great support network through my church family.

We go to FBC McKinney, but if you're looking for a church home in Frisco, there's Stonebriar Community Church. It's non-denominational. I don't know if you've tried it, but my brother-in-law works there and really loves it. He heads up the class for newlyweds and married couples without children. I think you'll have a few options as a married couple with a child. We've got several friends who've plugged in there and I hope you'll try it out.

Best wishes!

Hi M.,
If you haven't found a comfortable church home in Frisco after getting responses back, I highly recommend trying Fellowship Bible Church North in Plano - near Parker/75. It's worth the drive to feel comfortable in a church home. (www.fbcnorth.org) They are relocating Fall 2007 to a site next to Cinemark Legacy theaters - Legacy/75.
FBCN has been a wonderful church home for my family and I. It's a non-denominational church that is Biblically sound and very friendly. The sermons are wonderful. Pastor Jeff Jones is a great speaker who through vivid illustrations and story-telling shows us how we can apply Scripture to our daily lives. I always walk away from church learning so much.

Let me know if you'd like to meet before one of the church services and I can show you around. We're starting a new 4th service at the end of March, but right now the service times are Friday 7 p.m.; Sunday 9 or 11 a.m.
((The new service times at the end of March will be Friday 7 p.m.; Sunday 9 a.m.; 10:30 a.m.; Noon.))

We also have a great MOMS Connection ministry that meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday mornings (until mid May; break in summer; then start up again in Sept.) I'm a table leader there so if you'd like to visit that, email me. It's a great way to meet other moms and discuss parenting issues. And it's open to anyone interested in connecting with other moms -- you don't have to be a church member to join.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Hello, M.. I, too, am a mom of a 14-month-old. His birthday is 11-28-04, how 'bout yours? We just went to Four Corners church for the first time last Sunday and really loved it. We have also been having problems with our church and are so happy to have found a new church we like so quickly (we're very picky). Great message, nice people, good music, friendly and well-organized children's department. Their website is thecornerschurch.com- but it's not a well-done site, necessarily. Click on the site map to get around- it's easiest that way. E-mail me if you like.

We live in Frisco and we used to go to Stonebriar. I LOVED Chuck Swindoll but the lack of rules/organization and security in the childrens area made us nervous. We have been going to Prestonwood for a year now and we are so happy there. It is HUGE but the sunday school has people that we are great friends with now and the childrens area is the Fort Knox of security. Plus they have a lot of money to provide wonderful teaching/facilities for our sons. It is just a few minutes down the tollway. We love it there and feel safe with our children there!

I know you asked for a church in Frisco but I attend a church in Carollton which is not too far away. I live in Plano but it is definitely worth the drive. It is nondenominational church. It is vibrant and friendly and filled with love. They also have day care. It is called Covenant Church and it is off of the Tollway and Trinity Mills on the west side. Their web site is www.covenantchurch.org. God bless you and your family in your search for a new church family.

I have not attended this church, but ran into a wonderful family at Wal-mart....they were so friendly and we chatted for a while before I asked them where they attended...this is where they had just started attending and spoke VERY highly of it.

Hi - we're going to be moving to Frisco next week and have been trying Denton Bible Church. It is right off of 380 - maybe 15 minutes or so from 423. We had tried it before and loved it, but thought it might be too long of a drive especially as the kids got more active... and then we found out that there is a group of families from Frisco, Plano, and several surrounding areas that attend there and get together for fellowship dinners and Bible study... making it more of a small church within the church. We haven't met with them yet, but will be soon... as a matter of fact, I think it will be this weekend after church for lunch. If you guys decide to try it and want to meet, let me know. We're all going to have our kids there, so it may be a HUGE group. We're kind of wanting to find out more about the church so these guys were willing to talk with us.

Pastor of the church is Tommy Nelson, who does the Song of Solomon series. Preaching is done by going through the Bible, verse by verse... can't remember what that's called, but in contrast to what we used to have which was more topical. Worship is a blend of traditional and contemporary with instruments. New sanctuary so there are plenty of seats, but seems to be a growing church. Nondenominational. I'll post the referral link to the entire group, but if it doesn't come through you should be able to do a search for Denton Bible Church and Tommy Nelson.

Email me if you have questions. ____@____.com I'll be moving next Wednesday though, so you can also try ____@____.com

I just moved to the Plano area and would love to see if you get any good referrals for a church. We are building a home in Frisco that will be ready in April, so I too would like to find a non denominational church in that area. We just moved from California and would love to get plugged in with a church.

Thank you,

S. Sylvia
