My lil guy will be 3 on Monday, So i am having a party at Chuckie Cheese in Poughkeepsie for him. Has anyone had a chukcie cheese party experience....I did a "google' search of reviews and they were kinda scarey what parents had to say. The killer 13.99 price is much but if it makes our kids happy why not?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Well the Chuckie Cheese Party went good somewhat. My 3 year old definitely enjoyed it, so that made me happy. Only things that bothered me was a mother at the next party was actually taking stuff for my kids off my sons party table( ballonns, cotton candy) I felt like i had to babysit my table, I waanted to say something so bad but for the kids sake i let it go and just told my hostess who went and got more balloons and cotton candy.....Also Chuckie Cheese never even went up to my son. he came out between both parties for 5 minsutes and POOF! he was gone. Well it dod not even face my son he was off with his friends playing and running around...That was the idea for him to have fun and he did....It was pricy but I knew that. i do not think I would do another CEC party again but we will be there for visits.....Thanks

me and my daughter have been invited to quite a few of chucky's parties.first off the little boy was scared to death of chucky.the next year he asked to have it there again and it wasn't until the end of the party that he finally went up to chucky and gave him a hug.my suggestion is to take the little one to see chucky first.i mean a six foot mouse could be pretty scary for a little one.if he laughs and giggles at chucky then go for it, if not well then use your best judgement from there.hope everything turns out ok.

T.,

Chuck E. Cheese was not a good experience for my nephew in Maryland either. We were packed into a corner and they had 3 parties at one time, the kids enjoyed it, but the adults did not. My brother and his wife demanded thier money back, and received 75% of it. The kids ran and played and seemed to not mind how crowded the place was or the time it took to receive the pizza and cake.... which was an hour later than promised. I went to a party at McDonald's in Newburgh, by Price Chopper a few weeks ago and it was GREAT. The play area was not crowded and the food was on time. They started with a cookie, then 15 min later the food and then 30 min later the ice cream and cake. We all had a good time.

Good Luck,
~C.

I personally didn't have a good experience at Chuckie Cheese. My son had his 5 year old party there. They book WAY TOO MANY parties at one time. Older children thought that they could pick on little children and bully them around. And these older children were from a different party. There was no one is site to complain to and you are cramped for space. I payed too much money for what I was given. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!
