Chuck E Cheese in Maple Grove
Hi~
We were thinking of taking our 2 1/2 yr old out for a fun dinner tonight. Do you think she's old enough for chuck e cheese? If not, any other ideas? Thanks!!

Chuck E Cheese should be fun for her. They have little rides and little games tailored for that age. Lots of (loud) music, but the kids just can't get enough. Have fun!

Definately old enough! She may hate the rides she may love them but the fun and atmosphere she'll get sucked into. Depends on personality if they like the kiddie rides and games. My kids love them. At that age my oldest daughter just liked to sit on them she wasn't interested in you putting any money in them. Very cheap!
I took my girls a few months back my baby was 6mos. old and she had a good time she went sat with big sister on a few rides.
We are taking my youngest to Chuckie Cheese in 2weeks for her 1st birthday party!

sounds like fun. Bring a lot of hand sanitizer as I've heard its dirty

When our daughter was that age she loved the atmosphere at Space Aliens. We go to the one in Albertville, but there is also one in Blaine. I like Chuck e Cheese for the games, but their food is not good at all. The food at Space Aliens is yummy!

It depends - some of my kids loved it at 2 1/2 and others it was simply overload. My advice would be to go in the afternoon on a weekday when there are very few people there to try it out. Then you'd know if she didn't like the crowd or if it was sensory overload from all the games and lights.
How about picking up some take-out or subs and heading to a local park for a picnic? My children love this and we get some great family time outside.
God Bless!

I think she'd LOVE IT! We've taken my daughter every year on her b-day since she was one, she's know almost 3 and is already asking if we are going :)
One suggestion I have, is to go in the afternoon or early evening on a weekday. I've gone to b-day parties that have been on Sat or Sun afternoon and it is a nightmare!!! It gets very crowded and it's harder for little ones to play without being trampled by older kids running around :)
