I have a great purse that I bought from a criminal on ebay. She has lied to me so much that I am scared to send the item back to get my money back. It looks like a two year old attacked it with a pen and it was supposed to be "New with tags attached" like the picture showed. It was not, had no tags and it has ink marks all over and a few stains. I thought that the purse was a metallic leather, silver in color. I did my research and found that it is PVC. I tried leather cleaner (but I now know it is not leather) I have tried what I read as far as suggestions online and here: spray n wash, hairspray, baby wipes, makeup remover, lysol wipes, and lysol areosol spray. Not all on the same spots there are lots of marks on this purse so I have been able to try something different on each ink mark. I am going to go buy some magic erasers but I am worried that I will remove the metallic fininsh so If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it. Please Help me! I want to use this purse sooo bad! Thanks ya'll in advance.

You need to report this person if you thing that you have been dupped. It is a crime to mislead people for financial gain. Report her or him to the people at e-bay. Good luck.

Report her to Ebay and they will help you get your money back. If the item you received was not what was described or in the condition it was described, Ebay will help you. Paypal will refund your money, not the seller. That's the beauty of paying via Paypal, you're protected. Good luck!

PS. I wouldn't do anything more to try to clean/fix the purse or she can say you ruined it. Just stop and file a report.

Report this problem immediately to ebay. Do not wait too long. They have a time limit on how long and I believe it is 30 days. Ebay will follow through and help you get your money back. You will probably have to return the item to the sender. If so, send it with some type of confirmation so you can prove you did so. You might not get reimbursed for this expense but it is in your best interest.
I have been there in your shoes and I totally understand. Ebay was very helpful for me.
Good luck!

File a report with paypal and ebay. Take a picture. Dont do anything else to it that way the blame cant be put on you. I would imagine it wouldnt just be a 10 dollars lost. They are very good about taking care of things. Make sure to leave negative feedback.

Send it back. That is rediculous and Ebay will take the money out of their account if necessary. You will get your money back one way or another, Ebay is really good about that kind of stuff.

eBay is really good about guaranteeing their purchases. I'd take a photo of it now, make sure it's marked with the date for proof you received it in that condition. I'm not sure about getting the marks off or ruining the finish, but if you can't, send in the complaint, give her bad feedback, and see about getting your money back.

You might try goo be gone. I would reccomend trying it in an out of sight spot to make sure it doesn't take off the metallic finish.

I don't have any e-bay advice for you, but I do have some ideas for the marker.

Toothpaste. I've used this on crayon spots on the wall - don't know how it'll work on permanent marker, but it's probably worth a try.

Acetone nail polish remover. I have used this one on permanent marker, but you might want to try this one on an inconspicuous spot first - I'm not sure what it'll do to the finish on the purse.

Sunscreen. I have a girlfriend who swears by this as a method of getting off permanent marker. After all, it always seems to do a good job of erasing permanent markers used to label sunscreen bottles...
