"Chip and Dent" Places?

anyone know of a place that sells store display appliances or things w/ little dents and dings? my family needs a washer/dryer for a pretty reasonable price, and the ones i've seen on craigslist are either too much or not very good quality. we live in irving but are willing to travel a reasonable amount.

What can I do next?

We got a dented fridge from Lowes right about half price. It works great.

You have to try all of them (Lowes, Home Depot, etc) and check back. They are the best deals I've seen.

Sears..located on Marsh @ the intersection of Belt Line Rd. in Addison. They have lot to choose from.

I think any appliance store has a 'chip and dent' section in the back of their store, but you have to ask to see them. My boyfriend's father let us in on that secret!

There is a Sears outlet at the Grapevine Mills Mall. They have lots of washers and dryers to choose from.

You might want to try Rodenbaugh's in Plano...We bought a great "scratch and dent" washer there.

i got my washer from AAA appliance in keller right on 377 & keller hicks

they sell used, refurbished appliances, & everything comes with a warranty. they have very new models & also older models so the prices range greatly. i got an older model but it was only like $90 & since it has a warranty it was a great deal especially for me at the time!!

like i said, i think they have great deals plus you dont have to worry about it breaking down bc everything comes with a warranty, but i'll be honest this washer works better than any other i've ever had!

There is a Sears outlet at Grapevine Mills and there also used to be one on Beltline- closer to 35E (somewhere between Midway and 35E) that used to sell their display models or items that had been dinged. Sometimes Lowe's and Home Depot also have their floor models on sale. You might check there too. Good luck.
