I live in Eagan, am needing to find a daycare for my 5 and two year old. Had a really bad experience yesterday with my current daycare and need to find a different one ASAP. One that I will not have to worry about my kids safety.
You could go to mnchildcare.org. that is where i found my wonderful inhome provider. she is in blaine so that is a little far for you but that website may help if your looking for inhome. plus there is a number on there you can call also to get referalls from the state for your area. good luck i know it is hard to find a good provider!
I would recommend Day By Day child development center in Eagan. My kids have been extremely happy there as have I. The director is wonderful and the teachers are all great. They dont do school age kids but the two year old would love it. I would stay away from any of the "big box" centers as you wont find things to be better than what you already have. Hope this helps..

My children go to White Bear Montessori School. It includes amazing Montessori education for toddlers through 3rd grade with before and aftercare. Your children will flourish! The price including the effective education is comparable to day care. wbms.org
You could check with Resources for Child Caring or look up child care licensing in your county for a listing. I am sorry something happened at your current daycare. Please report it to licensing, or child protection, if need be. I wish you luck finding new care and hope your kids are ok.
