I recently ran an ad in the KC Star to get childcare, but only got a few calls and they were all for more than one child. I was looking to care for one child in my home. I prefer nights so that I can be active at my children's schools during the day. I serve on the PTA Board and volunteer for several different commmitees. I watched a little boy overnights for 5 years whose mom was a nurse and worked 3-4 nights a week. She got transfered to days and moved to Liberty and now does not need childcare. I currently watch a little girl before school and during the summer who is 6 1/2. I have watched her since she was about 6 months old. I am a stay at home mom accepting children on a part time and occassional basis. I am less than 10 miles from where you are.
