Child Care 3 -4 Days a Week
Not sure if this seems unreasonable, but I am seeking child care for my 4 month old covering a 4 day work week from around 8-3 at $100 a week. I would prefer a childcare in their home w/ references. A very small inhome daycare is fine too. Seeking more one on one attention for my child.

You didn't state the number of hours per day. If it is no more than 6, that might not be unreasonable. If it is a full day and your daughter will be there for 9 hours or so then you will have to pay more.
S.S. answers from Wichita Falls on January 18, 2009
In Dallas, that's unreasonable. The market rate there for an infant is $200 a week or $50 a day from what I understand. You might have better luck finding someone to trade childcare with - but then you run into issues of different parenting styles, etc.
You can search licensed providers in your area at http://www.dfps.state.tx.us/Child_Care/Search_Texas_Child... and then call and find out what they charge / etc. You can also view their previous inspections for any deficiencies.
In Wichita Falls, you can get a full time infant spot for $125 a week, or $30 a day - in centers. In homes, it's closer to $100 a week.
Good luck
S.
