Cheap Car Rental?

I'm trying to find a minivan for 10 days at the end of July with unlimited miles. All I can find on Hertz are ones for about $950. That's too much. Any ideas?

What can I do next?

That does seem like a lot! I got a mini-van from Enterprise for about $35/day the last time I rented which was a few months ago. I found my deal by searching on-line. I couldn't get the same deal thru the live reservations though so you really just have to shop around and do your research. Sometimes you get lucky. Good luck!

I would try Budget. My husband, son, and I are going to Knoxville TN in a week and a half I got a mid-sized car with our AA Advantage discount for $150. I know you said you needed a van but I would check out Budget and see what they have. Also it is cheaper to rent from another location other than the airport if that is possible.

Unless you just HAVE to have a minivan... shoot for an SUV. I got one for an entire week -- doesn't have unlimited miles but I got it for $224 for the week...

look at national, alamo, enterprise as well... if you have an Entertainment book, they've got codes and free weekend day rentals... try those too
