Hi, have you tried Kayak? Usually when you sign in to this site and the ones you mentioned, they will email you cheap flights almost daily. Right now flights froom Det to Orlando are running 118 round trip! Hope this helps

spirit airlines. my husband gets tickets to fl for about $140 per ticket if not cheaper. he travels there about once a month for work. hopes this helps...

the best way is to keep going to to the air lines. Airtrans go out of det and flint. southwest,spirit, and my bargin was at delta I got round trip for 98.00 in July the best day is tues and wed am before 7am

You might want to try AirTran or Spirit Air.

Check Spirit airlines. You can sign up for email updates. They have specials every week. We flew to New York last summer for $9 each way and have flown to Fort Lauderdale for $75. Always great deals and they do fly into Florida. Good luck.

Like another poster said below, try Kayak.com - they will check airlines that sometimes expedia and orbitz leave out. You can't buy directly through Kayak - they're just set up to search other search engines (and then you have to go to those search engines to buy).
