Charity Pick-up Needed
A friend of mine is moving back to Europe and would like to donate household goods, furniture and clothes to a charity. Do you know an organisation that would pick up from an apartment complex in Coppell? As I understand the Arc doesn't do apt complexes, and my friend does not have time for craigslist or consignment stores.

The Salvation Army came and picked up a garage full of stuff from me when I moved my mom from Dallas before.
She could also do freecycle where she lists everything and says that they must take everything if she wants to get rid of it fast. Of those two options freecycle will probably get the quickest response.
Have her go to http://www.freecycle.org/, select the areas she wants to list in, and all the directions will come to her thru email.

Christian Community Action in Lewisville picks up. You can call and set up a time for them to come out.

The Salvation Army is one of the best-known charities that come pick up goods. I have used them many times before a move, or when I have purchased new furniture. The number to schedule a pick up is:
1-800-95-TRUCK

You can try Goodwill or salvation army. However, I would like to have a chance to look at what your friend has. I lost my things in my home due to hurricane Katrina and have not replace everything.
