Chapped Lips - 10 Month Old
HI there - anyone have any suggestions for chapped lips for a 10 month old? My daughter wakes up with cracked / dry lips in the morning and wondering what I can do that's "natural" to help soothe them. Thanks!!

Do you have any Aquaphor? (We used to use it for diaper rash, and so always had it handy in the nursery.) It works great on chapped lips, dry elbows, you name it - I still use it myself every day. I believe it's made from vaseline and mineral oil, for the most part, so it's safe to use as a lip balm.

Try using a humidifier in her room at night.

we used aquaphor or any petroleum jelly. not exactly "natural". beeswax based ointments might work too. maybe a nipple cream? they are safe for breast feeding/ingestion and are soothing and protective. I used leftover nipple cream (mother love brand?) as an ointment on my chapped hands. the ingredients were perfectly safe.
