I'm a stylist as well and would love a career change. Go to your local community college and take the Meyers Briggs personality test, it can help narrow down your interests career wise. Also, browse the bls.gov outlook handbook for career ideas:

if you want to go into cosmetology, i suggest a beauty academy. we have two in the city i live in. i don't know if christina's is a national brand or not, but they have their own academy, then we also have the city one. my future SIL is starting to attend this summer (she is still in high school, she will be finished with her schooling soon after she finishes. she gets high school credit for attending a trade school. pretty awesome.)
good luck finding out information for your area.
