Car Repair - Keller,TX

My husband was rear-ended in our pontiac van...now we need to find a body shop for the repairs...we are in keller but anywhere in the mid-cities area. we just don't know where to take it??? (he opted to not take it to one of the places that their insurance has a deal with so that's not what we're looking for)

we have used Christian Brothers on Rufe Snow for car problems but I don't think they do body work.

Fender Mender on 1709 in between rufe snow and 377 did the body work on our van after a fender was damaged in a parking lot, they did a great job they even discovered that there was previous damage to the fender/crumple zone that was there from before we bought the care (used, 4 years prior to this event) and they got the insurance to fix everything for us and they did a great job, we were very pleased and highly recommend them, and they are in Keller!!!

I used Grapevine Colision (sp?) on Dallas St. by Main Street in Grapevine and I was very happy with their service.

Christian Brothers in Rude Snow. They are awesome. If they can not repair, they have an honest recommendation. You will be taken care of well and on time with them.

Fender Mender on 1709 (next to the new Race Trak that's being built.) They did an awesome job with my Jeep when we got rear-ended.

I too was leary about taking the insurance company's suggestion. One problem is that they probably won't cut any secret deals. Those deals are good for old cars that you'll drive into the ground someday.

However, I believe that they also recommend them because they don't putty in a big dent when they know it should be replaced, taking value away from your car for the future.

So, if you have a newish car and want to preserve its value in a resale situation, think of that. Also, get a company that will warrantee their work for a long period of time. (One that I went to, not recommended, showed peeling paint 1.5 years later, then more after 5 years. They had a lifetime warrantee so they will re-do it for free. (But they were not on my insurance company's list. I never had a paint job go bad with a company recommended by my insurance.)
