We purchased a 5-lap Corvette "Thrill Ride" at TX Motor Speedway for $75 through a company called Texas Driving Experience. It cost more to drive. Their best package is a 10 Lap COMBO: Extreme Drive & 5-Lap Thrill Ride for $355. Here's the web site.

My husband did the 10 lap drive through Team Texs at Texas Motor Speedway & LOVED it! I would have done it too but at the time I was 8 months pregnant. Anyway, I just double checked a couple of diferent program rates & for the 10 lap price with Texas Driving Experience it is $325.00

The prices must have gone up in the last couple of years because when we went it was just under $200. Wish it was more in your budget because I think she would love it. Hope you find something that will work.
On a side note: if you guys are looking for a church home feel free to visit ours: Fellowship of Joy located in Grand Prairie. It my seem like a way off but it's not that far. We live in Ft. It is a woman-owned company and I know Dawn Stokes personally. TDE has top of the line equipment and there are many different options available. I recommend the 10 lap drive for $325 to really determine if your daughter wants to pursue an amateur racing career. For this experience, your daughter will get classroom instruction on road racing principles and actual driving experience in a Z06 Corvette. They have all the latest safety equipment and top road racing instructors, who are available to answer any of your daughter's questions about getting involved in racing. Otherwise, if she just wants to ride along for an exciting 5 laps with a professional driver it's $75. (That will give her a taste of real road course racing to see if she's interested in more). The next Public Ride and Drives are Sept. 6 and Oct. 18. Have fun!!!

C.- I just worked the ribbon cutting for a program that would be perfect for you to speak with -
Young Racers of America- they would probably know the best place to go- They work with young children to start them out racing and would be a wealth of knowledge.
