Cannot Stand Another Bowling Party........Any Ideas?

My son is turning 7 in February and we are stumped. We have been to 4 very mundane bowling partes this year already. don't think I can stand another one! in the past we have done chuck e chees, My Gym, a home party with a magician, and an elmo party. this year we want to do soething different. We live near torrance CA and would like the party to be in Palos verdes, torrance, san pedro or redondo beach. I have been to parties at Kid concepts and adventure plex and am not that impressed. Does anyone have a truly creative idea for a party? we do not want to host the party at our house as it is just too much work. We would love to go to a farm and milk cows or a farm and pick berries but where? Not in the south bay for sure. I am working on the Cabrillo Aquarium for a docent and a guided tour but have not gotten very far on that. we are going to have about 20 kids around 6 years old give or take and would love this to just be a drop off party. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

I know you want to stay local but you might want to give Adventure City a shot. It's located in Stanton, just down the street from Knott's Berry Farm.

What about a bond fire at the beach with roasting smore and hot dogs. You don't have to make a big fire.

I know they have a cool aracdia in the Long Beach town center and I think they have something like that at Redondo pier.

What about having a theme party (pirate or something like that) in the park and just do a long sub sandwich and a cake. Maybe a Jumper.

What about ice skating or a skate park

I'm looking for a job I can work form home but I don't want to putout any money. What is the job you do form home? Just asking?

Good Luck!

Aquarium of the Pacific in Long beach hosts parties. There is also pumpituppatry.com in Huntigton Beach, or scootersjungle.com in Placentia (kinda far, but my personal favorite). Both, Pump it Up and Scooters jungle are huge warehouses that have tons of blow up bounce houses and slides, etc. And the adults can jump too. Perfect for 7 y/o's. Someone else suggested a theme party. A treasure hunt in a park is great fun. Leave clues and make the prize an activity they can all do together. Good luck!
Nat

Just an idea....lazer tag it is located in Torrance on Hawthorne one block south of Sepulveda. They have pizza and drinks in between the 10 minute games where they run around behind glow in the dark objects with lazer guns. Can have 2 teams of 10 kids each or less.
