Can Anyone Recommend a Good OB/GYN in Rockville, Maryland???
I am very unhappy with my current OB/GYN in Rockville, Maryland. The office does not communicate well and the office staff is very rude. I am going to switch immediately and am looking for recommendations of doctors that you really love! Thank you in advance!

I used Dr. Roy Brooks, over at Contemporary OB/GYN on Key West Ave in Rockville. He was fantastic, and I never had any issues with him or his staff. Several of my friends went to his office as well, and were all happy. They do deliver mainly at Holy Cross.

I go to Capital Women's Care. Judith Gurdian and Michelle Spector. Doctor Spector just delivered my first baby in Feb and I really like the two doctors. They are right next to Shady Grove Hospital.

dr guardian at capital women's care near shady grove has a very friendly small office with 3 other women ob/gyn's whom I found all very nice + she always makes the washington post top docs list so it must be not only my opinion. (I gave birth with them to my first 8 months ago). hope it helps, who is your current OB by the way?

Dr Robert Footer in Rockville. I had to switch to him when I was 8 weeks because we moved to the area. He is great, patient nad has an ultrasound machine in both of his offices. You get to see your baby whenever you want - call him up and tell him you are worried or whatever and need to put your mind at ease and somehow he makes the time for you to come in and see the baby. He is very supportive and has a great staff. He is also on the Washington Top Docs List.

Capital Women's Care, Dr. Apgar, Renzi and Tran. They are right next to Shady Grove Hospital and are great! They came highly recommended to me. I wasn't happy with my old practice and when I got pregnant again (almost 12 weeks) I decided to get some recommendations from friends. ###-###-####.

I'd suggest a midwifery practice. The only one is Rockville is assoc. with Simmons and Simmons. Midwives will spend more time with you, are women centered and usually communicate very well. If you are willing to travel I prefer other midwifery practices. As a doula, and childbirth educator, I hear this quite frequently from women. Midwives can and do provide most everything your OB/GYN does, even while not pregnant.
Feel free to contact me if you would like more info. about midwives.
