Can Anyone Recommend a Funeral Home in or Around Phoenix?

Samaritan Funeral home has been wonderful whenever I've worked with them, and it has been a couple of times. It is family owned. Hope that helps.

Chapel of the chimes in Glendale, 59th ave and Northern. They did a wonderful job with my grandma last year. And they even give an additional memorial at the end of the year for all whoever went thru them.
They make it soooo much easier for you.

When my friend mom died they had a funeral for her at this funeral home it's called Hansen Mortuaries it is betweeen northern and dunlap on 7th st. Here is there number ###-###-####. They do creamate.

I'm so sorry for your best friend's loss. I highly recommend Carr-Tenney Mortuary located at 2626 South Rural Road in Tempe if that area will work for your friend. Their phone number is ###-###-####. They are a family owned business and they have been there for YEARS. I want to say at least 40 years. My family has used their services for my grandmother, aunts and uncles. Just last January 08, I lost my youngest brother unexpectedly to pneumonia. The costs were reasonable, the funeral coordinator was so sensitive and accomodating to our needs. We were able to set up our own projector screen and the audio equipment to show a video of my brother's life as part of the funeral service. You can have any pastor or priest conduct the service since they have a very nice chapel that can hold about 200 people. They also have a reception room at the entry which I believe they provided the refreshments and cookies. If your friend decides to use their services, please let the funeral coordinator (I don't have her name off hand) that the Ballesteros family remains grateful for her compassion, sensitivity and flexibilty.

My father passed away in March and we used Neptune Society. They are right here in Phoenix and have the best price around. I already did all the research on prices. They are very quick to respond and compassionate as well. They will retrieve the body wherever it is and transport it for cremation.

When my mother-in-law passed a few yrs ago, Heritage Funeral Home on 67th Ave/Thunderbird was nice and the staff was very respectful. I'm not sure if you're looking for central Phx though. I'm very sorry for your friend's sudden loss. You're a wonderful friend to be helping her though such this difficult time.
