Camping in Wisconson Dells This Summer
Hi, this summer we plan on going to camp at the yogi bear camp site in the dells which has a water park in it already....my question is.... My son is 2 and my daughter will be 8 mnths..any pointers on what to bring? We are using a tent and going in july so we don't have to worry about it being too cold. and we are going to get a 2 room tent with a screened in porch so she can play there if she wants ( my youngest) any other pointers on what to bring or get would be great thanks!

stroller or wagon
medical box or anything you could run into needing on an emergency, baby tylenol, stuff like that
bucket and shovel is fun in the dirt, grass, or sand
little ride on toy for your 2 year old might keep him busy

TONS of sand toys, water toys, and some favorite toys from home, bubble stuff. We have been camping with our kids since they were a few months old. One of my favorite spots was Yogi Bear because they have so much to do. A screened in tent is wonderful for play area. Bring a blanket or tarp to put on the ground. Also, I would recommend a excersaucer or some other sit and play activity for your daughter.
Have fun!!

get a campsite by a water spout and bathroom if you can they have a great indoor waterpark as well we just went to get away from winter and stayed at their lodge it was great and so clean and not so busy unlike the dells but that is their resort in warren i guess i don't know much about the dells site but get some shoes that are easy to clean like crocs or the knock off airwalks lots of dust you won't want in the tent and a fire fence they have them at gander mountain a little expensive but worth it rather than an accident with a serious burn have fun maybe check out the one in warren is very family friendly and resonable

On top of toys I had a pack and play playpen, so they would not wonder off. Flash lights that children can use. I had a tugboat floatable so my baby could be in the water with me. Life jackets, little swimmers for pools, and don't forget the bug repellent and sunscreen. There is so much to try to remember and bring, but your making memories and thats wonderful!

Hi K.! I live 1/2 hour from the Dells and have two older children ages 9 and 15. You'll have a wonderful time! I'd say to make sure to bring warm clothes or something warm also. Even in July we can have the old 'cool' night.......and moisture in tents can make one cooler. Bug juice for the insects and good sunscreen! Have fun........a million places to get wet!
