My son is to have his 1st Birthday in May. Where is a good but inexpensive place to buy a cake or anyone bakes cakes.
Any suggestions are appreciated!

My friend Heather Baker makes cakes. She made a beautiful one for my baby shower recently. She used to work for bakeries and now makes them out of her home. They are delicious and she has had the cutest designs! It would be worth contacting her.
Her cell is ###-###-####. You can tell her that A. gave you her name.

I always order my daughter's cake from the Kroger bakery. They have an enormous book of character or theme cakes to choose from. They will also decorate a cake in any colors you choose. They also taste really good.

There is a lady in Allen who makes gorgeous, delicious cakes. She is a dream to work with and will make it so special for your son. That's a ways from Carrollton, but I thought you might be interested for something special. Her prices are very reasonable. Here is her website. She works out of her home. She has made 3 cakes for me - graduation, birthday, and baby shower, and they've all been perfect! Email me if you have any other questions.

My kids just had their first birthday and I got their cakes at the Target bakery and they were wonderful. I got a 1/2 sheet with the edible photo on top and they gave me the complimentary smash cakes for the babies and I think it was about $28. The next weekend I got a 1/4 sheet at Albertson's for a baby shower, and it was even slightly better than Target and was $16.99. These both had the whipped cream topping and no fillings, but they were awesome!
Hope you have a great first birthday and congrats on surviving the first year!
